Friendship is the only ship that doesn't sink. Having someone with whom you could share everything without any hesitation is the best part of friendship. But what if the person disappears suddenly? Our life seems meaningless.

Sudeep Nagarkar’s ‘ You’re the password to my life’ is a story about two best friends Virat and kavya who are like chalk and cheese. Virat a cautious and reserved guy from Pune who had lost his parents and lives alone in any rented flat. While kavya is outgoing and likes to lead a life full of reckless fun who lives with her parents. Despite their differences, they are thick friends even Mahek their college friend, and also love of Virat’s life can't come in their way. Their friendship is put to test when an unforeseen incident hits them all of a sudden. Aditya along with Rohan who is Virat’s online friend can come to their rescue?

If you go along with the title it will seem like a typical love story, then your conjecture is wrong. The story is completely about two innocent friends who are unbreakable when they have each other back. I would say Sudeep has done the character placement excellently. The various kinds of the relationship like Love, Friendship, brotherhood, online friendship are experienced when you go on with the book. Having that one friend to count on is the unique part of the book. The mini part of the specific character gives a hint of their involvement in the whole story. The author had put pressure on the importance of friendship or any relationship which we take for granted and when the time of realization comes it's too late and you end up losing that person. A short part also shows the relation of siblings and what importance they have in our life. A different kind of love is defined in the story the one who respects your best friend and treats them equally. The story of Virat and Kavya states the importance of having a friend who supports you in any circumstances. A friend who irritates you just to see a smile on your face. This book will set a bar for having a friend as Kavya and Virat had. The story tells us the importance of covey your feelings to the person who has a place near your heart because time doesn't always have a better mood. The climax part is bearable but the ending could leave you shattered and in tears. I felt that was unnecessary to put a heartbreaking end to such a beautiful story.

Overall the book is astonishing and even the language is simple. The book has many inspiring thoughts regarding valuing an important person from your life. So if you are interested in reading something different then the usual ones, you could give this a try.
