You’re most awkward memory with your friend or friend circle?
Friendship is all about the annoying things done together, the epic failed yet successful plans, the time to stand united whenever required, the unplanned yet thoughtful trips, and lastly the vow to stay together till death do us apart. That little moments are precious and cherish through the course of our life.
Ravinder Singh came up with a one hell reunion trip story in his book The Belated Bachelor Party. The four friends Happy, Manpreet, Ravin, and Amardeep had not seen each other in years since their time together in graduation some twelve years ago. Well settled, married, the friends realize they never had a bachelor party before getting committed forever. Better now than never they decide to have a one when Ravin comes up with a plan, which his wife extracted from a movie. After a long quarrel and discussion, they all agree on a Europe trip where Ravin is put in charge to handle all the bookings. They make a pact they will go together and if anyone is not able to make it they will cancel the whole trip. Many hindrances occur during their journey to Europe. From the visa house to the airport they all face various challenges but manage to reunite. The whole Europe trip turns out to be an adventure of a lifetime when they go through hell to have an unforgettable bachelorette party.
The book is a light read and would take you on an international trip with the fun a union of friends has. The narration of the book is done by an intangible person 'Friendship' which is another unique part. The whole planning and organizing the trip to make it successful is one hell journey for the author along with his friends. The memorable trip includes various serious points discussed by the boys while traveling to beautiful places. The story embraces a pure bond of friendship, which is rare in the world. The four people who stand by each other in every situation explains the perfect definition of friendship.
The book could be a bit simple for many readers, while some could be uninterested in such type of genre.
The book is an enjoyable read and a pick for people who desire to plan a reunion trip since it comes with a whole lot of adventure as well as caution.
