Which is your favorite queer couple?

"I like Charlie Spring! In a romantic way, not just friendly way."

The story of Charlie and Nick continues in the second volume of Heartstopper by Alice Oseman. The book picks up from where the first part ended. Nick and Charlie's kiss. Now that Charlie knows Nick too feels something for him. On the other hand, Nick is all confused about his sexuality and his feeling for Charlie. He confronts Charlie, who is very supportive, and decides to keep their relationship a secret till the time Nick is not ready. Charlie's friends warn him about Nick and how he might be just like his friends who bullied Charlie last year. But Charlie knows that Nick is different, he is the most caring and loving person. They both embrace their newly formed bond while Nick is discovering who he is. Will Nick be able to come out?

This book is way cuter than the first one. This book focuses on Nick and how he tries to figure out what he really is. This book is eternally beautiful as Charlie and Nick tackle the situation and their feelings develop. This book also introduces other characters who are a huge part of the book like, Charlie's friends and his sister Tori who is the best person ever. This volume also brings out the issue of dealing with sexuality and how to figure it out just like Nick does. Charlie being all supportive and totally in love is the best part. The illustration plays a big role in the books and they are perfectly placed. The online chat part is the cutest. Also, this volume finally sheds light on the most important character Nellie (Nick's Dog), who plays a crucial role. Heartstopper is such a relaxing and delightful read. The series deserves five stars.
